|Course Description:||This course is designed to prepare pre-service teachers with the skills to provide linguistically and culturally appropriate instruction, assessment, and learning opportunities for students identified as English Language Learners (ELL). We will examine current trends and issues in Second Language Acquisition (SLA), theoretical notions and research in the study of language acquisition, enculturation, acculturation, and cognitive development.|
