|Course Description:||Study of the nature and needs of school age children with moderate and severe handicapping conditions that include cognitive, health and/or physical impairments. Focus is on the educational and vocational needs of these children from a content base which includes identification, assessment, and remediation practices which are coupled with supportive measures, materials, and techniques. The use of instructional adaptations such as assistive technology will be stressed.|
