|Course Description:||This course introduces the graduate nurse to the triparite role of the faculty member in higher education, General issues such as tenure and promotion, self-goverance, legalities and ethics of teaching, acdemic freedom, and the nature of scholarship as it relates to inquirey, integration application and teaching are explored. Issues specific to nursing such as the dichotomos nature of nursing practice and higher education are also a major focus of discussion.|
