"At Mansfield University, we develop leaders. We accomplish this by focusing on the four core values that have been our tradition since 1912: Character, Scholarship, Culture, and Service."
The goal of the Political Science Club is to promote greater awareness on campus about political issues. To achieve this, the PSC plans a variety of events. For example, the PSC regularly hosts an Election Night Live (ENL) party for mid-term and presidential elections. The PSC organized a bus trip to attend Jon Stewart’s Rally to Restore Sanity in October 2010. Later, PSC was able to bring Lewis Black and his comedy tour In God We Rust to Mansfield University for a performance. The club also organizes regular film screenings to promote discussion on political topics (e.g. terrorism, human rights).
The club is non-partisan and meets on Tuesdays at 12:00 pm in 105 Pinecrest Manor. Dr. Jeffrey Bosworth and Dr. Jonathan Rothermel are the faculty co-advisors.

Several political science majors have begun the process to establish a Model United Nations club at Mansfield University. They are currently working on a constitution and will petition to be recognized as a student club at the beginning of the Fall 2010 semester. If you would like more information concerning the club, contact MU2NO advisor Dr. Jonathan Rothermel or join MU2NO's Facebook Group.
