The Mansfield University Symphony Orchestra – Jeff Jacobsen, Artistic Director and Conductor – will present its Spring Concert on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 2:30 PM in Steadman Theater of the Butler Music Center. The concert will feature “Joyeuse Marche” and “España” by Emmanuel Chabrier, “Starodávný” from Six Lachian Dances by Leos Janácek, and “Carnival of the Animals” by Camille Saint-Saëns which will be conducted by graduate student Julia Federico. The concert is free and open to the public – charitable donations of winter clothing will be shared with My Neighbors Closet.
