The EXTERNSHIP Program

What is an Externship?

It is a structured, 3 – 5 day experience where you go to a business or organization in your field of interest. It can be a full-day or half-day experience at the site. You get to observe, do activities, and see what a professional in your field does on a day-to-day basis. It is an opportunity for you to gain an understanding of a business, industry or organization and/or job functions. It allows you the opportunity to ask questions. Click here to learn more. You will find representatives from each of the departments there to talk about the majors and minors offered, what type of skills you will learn, and what occupations are available for this major.
